Welcome to our membership page

BCHC is actively recruiting members as part of its plans to become a Foundation Trust.

Patients, stakeholders and anyone else resident in the West Midlands with an interest in NHS community services can become a member of Birmingham Community Healthcare to keep informed of developments in service delivery and to have your say about the way we operate.

Membership is free and open to anyone over the age of 16 that lives within one of our public constituencies. To become a public member click on the blue button above and enter a few personal details.

Different Levels of Membership?

We understand that people will have different requirements as members; some people may want to be minimally involved in our plans whereas others may want to be more fully involved, for example by standing as a candidate for one of the public governor seats. When you sign up as a member you will be asked to choose the level of membership that suits you from the following three. You will also be able to change your mind and choose a different level of membership at any time.

Level 1 means limited membership involvement. We may email you every now and then to invite you to an event, or let you know about major changes within the NHS in Birmingham.

Level 2 is the next stage where you will have an opportunity to receive newsletters, invitations to events and be able to access a whole host of other useful news and updates about the NHS in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Level 3 is for those members who like to take a more hands on approach. You will have an opportunity to find out more about the role of Governors and the impact they will have on many aspects of life within Birmingham Community Healthcare. You will also be able to get involved, perhaps in shaping how community services are delivered in your area.

We look forward to receiving your application form for membership. Please look in the top right of the screen for more information on how you can contact us.
