Assessment and Treatment

A multidisciplinary outpatient service for the assessment and treatment of older people on an outpatient basis.

Other services, available on a clinic basis, include physio and occupational therapy, dietetics, tissue viability, bladder assessment, falls prevention and EXTEND exercise classes.

Who is it for?

Service users are predominantly older adults, although younger people with complex needs are also seen. The service is based at Moseley Hall Hospital. Referrals can potentially be accepted from other localities but please note that the service cannot always provide transport for patients travelling from other areas.

Who delivers it?

The core team includes medical and nursing staff, physiotherapists and occupational therapists based at Moseley Hall Hospital.

Access is by written or telephone referral from any health professional accompanied by an up to date clinical summary.
