During spring 2011, a series of Mental Capacity Act workshops took place in Birmingham to promote the act to the public to include patients, carers and community groups. Click on the links below to view information and photos from each workshop.
The workshops were facilitated by a range of professionals from Birmingham Community Healthcare’s safeguarding adults team and patient experience team, Heart of Birmingham’s patient and public involvement team and the Office of the Public Guardian.
A fourth workshop has been planned for 22nd June 2011 which again will be aimed at the public, carers and community organisations. Further details will soon be available.
