- Delivering appropriate childhood immunisation training programmes for Trust staff
- Co-ordinating routine and mass immunisation campaigns completed by school health teams across Birmingham
- Acting as a resource for information and advice in relation to immunisation
In Birmingham, local school health teams visit more than 100 venues every year across the city to offer immunisation services to children and young people. Venues include mainstream schools, special schools, behaviour/support units, independent schools and health centre based vaccination clinics.
