The Central Booking Service was set up in March 2010 in order to offer parent/carers a choice of appointment, to reduce the Did Not Attend rates (DNA’s) and to maximise the clinic utilisation of the Community Paediatric clinics held within community settings city-wide.
Referrers can access the service by completing the referral form and emailing this to:
BCHNT.commchildref@nhs.net., once received this referral will then be triaged locally by the Clinicians. If appropriate for the Community Paediatric service a letter will be sent to the parent/carer asking them to call to book an appropriate appointment.
