We provide a specialist inpatient Assessment and Treatment Unit and outreach team, including day assessment and outreach for people with learning disabilities who may require assessment and treatment in the community.
The Birmingham community assessment and treatment service addresses the needs of people with learning disabilities and additional complex health needs by offering 4 hourly response times to anyone referred to the service Monday to Friday between 9 to 5pm.
This contract does not apply to children or adolescents (young people aged below 19). This service is contracted separately by Birmingham Joint Commissioning Team for Learning Disability Services.
