Who is an Adult at risk?

An adult at risk is someone who is aged 18 years or older and is need of extra support because they are unable to take care of themselves or protect themselves from harm.

What is Abuse?

Abuse is any act or omission to act that harms another person.

What Forms Can Abuse Take?

Abuse can be physical, psychological, sexual, financial or material, domestic (between partners), acts of neglect or omission or discriminatory.

Where Does Abuse Take Place?

Abuse can happen ANYWHERE.

Who Abuses Adults?

ANYONE can be an abuser.
