Better Care

AGM and members' meeting 2019

More than 100 people - including staff, patients, public, members and governors - attended the recent Birmingham Community Healthcare Annual General Meeting and Annual Members Meeting.

The event, which took place at the Saffron Centre in Highgate, saw the formal launch of the Trust’s 2018/19 Annual Report and financial accounts, and the Quality Report .

It was also an opportunity for the governors to report on the past year’s activities to members.

The event included an interactive session focussing on one of the Trust’s core values: Inclusive.

During the session, attendees watched a video in which patients talked about their experience of BCHC services.

This was followed by table discussions on what more can be done to make services more inclusive. The feedback from attendees will contribute to ongoing improvement work.

Our interactive session on our core value of 'inclusive' prompted some very lively discussion., helping us shape the way we work and our culture as an employer and a provider of care.

Thanks to everyone who attended the AGM and members' meeting - your interest in our work and contribution to our organisation's continuing development in the future is very valuable and much appreciated.
