Hospital food earns 5-star rating

Birmingham Community Healthcare has received the maximum possible rating for the safety, quality and hygiene standards of its food catering services at Moseley Hall Hospital.

The maximum five-star rating, awarded by Birmingham City Council food safety officers as part of the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, reflects a commitment to continuing improvement in public facilities across the operation, whose sites also include West Heath Hospital, Birmingham Dental Hospital and the Sheldon Unit.

Director of estates and facilities Mark Holloway said: “We’re delighted to receive this recognition of our hard work, commitment and dedication to providing a top quality service for our patients, visitors and staff.
