Congratulations Values in Practice and Board award winners, summer 2014!

Over 200 staff, patients, governors and members of the public attended the Birmingham Community Healthcare Annual General Meeting and Values in Practice awards.

The event, themed ‘Better Care, Healthier Communities’ to tie in with the Trust’s new strapline, saw the formal publication of the Trust’s annual report and financial accounts, and the quality account for 2013-14

Following the AGM, individuals and staff and teams from across the Trust were hailed ‘VIPs’ in the Values in Practice staff awards ceremony. To find out who scooped the winners trophies for each of the seven categories, download the winners and finalists list here.

In addition, the Board awarded two annual awards for excellence and innovation. One went to Vicki Arnold, associate director of informatics, while the other was awarded to the entire Children and Families division. Click on the link to read their citations.

Over 100 staff were nominated in this summer’s Values in Practice awards, each one is listed in the awards programme, alongside the citations of the short-listed nominees.

The Values in Practice awards are open all year round to staff, patients and the public who can nominate any BCHC staff member or team. For more details on how to nominate visit the Values in Practice awards webpage.
