Notice of election for the Council of Governors

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust gives notice that it will hold elections to its Council of Governors.

Elections are to be held for the following positions:

13 Public Governors in the following constituencies:
  • Central and West Birmingham (4 vacancies)

  • East and North Birmingham (4 vacancies)

  • South Birmingham (4 vacancies)

  • West Midlands (1 vacancy)

 

6 Staff Governors in the following constituencies:
  • Medical, dental and nursing staff (2 vacancies)

  • Healthcare assistants and support staff (2 vacancies)

  • Scientific, therapeutic and technical staff / allied health professionals and healthcare scientists (1 vacancy)

  • Other staff not listed above (1 vacancy)


A nomination form to stand for election to these positions can be obtained from the Returning Officer at the address shown below.

All nomination papers should be received by the Returning Officer, Caroline Hinchcliffe, at the address as detailed below, by 5pm on Monday, 10 December 2012.

Faxed or emailed nominations will not be accepted.

Should any nominee wish to withdraw their nomination, they must put this in writing to the returning officer by 5pm on Thursday, 13 December 2012.

Ballot papers will be distributed to qualifying members on Friday, 4 January 2013. Completed ballot papers must be received by the Independent Scrutineer by 5pm on Tuesday, 29 January 2013.
