Double commendation for spirit of innovation!

BCHC has earned double recognition in the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (WMASHN) Celebration of Innovation Awards.

The Trust was highly commended in the 'innovative organisation of the Year' category while innovation manager Hamid Zolfagharinia was also highly commended in the 'innovator of the year' category.

BCHC chairman Tom Storrow said: "The Trust recognises the importance of exploring new ideas with the potential to improve the clinical services we provide and so this double recognition is brilliant news - 'very well done' to all involved."

BCHC recently became the first organisation in the region to join the WMAHSN's enhanced membership programme, offering staff an increased level of expertise and support to accelerate the adoption of innovative ideas.
