Birmingham Community Heathcare joined thousands of NHS colleagues across the country in celebrating NHS Change Day today, 13 March.

The idea behind the day is simple - to create a mass movement of NHS staff who pledge to do something different that will have a big impact on patient care.

The Trust has chosen this day to launch its new customer care standards - these set out how our patients and service users should expect to be treated by our staff when you receive care from us.

To launch them, leaflets and posters are now displayed at a number of inpatient sites across the city. Find out more about our customer care standards here.

Some staff have also used the day as an opportunity to practice the principles of great customer service.

NHS Change Day - Gary Crellin
Associate director Gary Crellin went back to his roots in hospitality as part of NHS Change Day
Back to their roots!

Three associate directors in our adults and community division used NHS Change Day as an opportunity to shadow colleagues in frontline roles, going back to their roots to where they started their career - in hospitality, occupational therapy and nursing respectively.
