Better Care

Veteran health event

veteran health event

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest providers of NHS Community Services in England and provides a combination of community services to the population of Birmingham and Specialist Community Services to the City of Birmingham and to the wider West Midlands Region.

We have a long history of taking time to listen to and respond to patients and the public we serve, and we would like to now spend some time to focus our attention on the health needs for military veterans and their families.  We are keen to listen to the views of veterans and their families and to understand their opinions about what excellent healthcare looks like.

We would therefore like to invite veterans to attend a drop-in event:

When:            Thursday 1 November 2012

                        From 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Where:          West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre, 91 Oak Tree Lane, Selly Oak, Birmingham B29 6JA

On-site free car parking is available, and good public transport links.  Light refreshments will be served during the event.

You will have the opportunity to find out more about the wide range of NHS services provided by Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust, and be asked to talk to clinicians and members of our Patient Experience Team about what constitutes excellent health care for you or for the people you represent

You are welcome to drop in any time between 4pm and 6pm, and may stay for as short or as long as you wish.  If you, or a colleague are able to join us, or if you have any questions about Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust or the event, please contact Anne Pemberton or Alison Last:
