Better Care

Delivering best care and sustaining healthy communities during the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games is almost here and we are working hard to deliver all our healthcare services while visitors from across the world enjoy 12 days of spectacular competition.

The temporary impact on normal life in our city may, however, have an impact on accessing our services, whether it is getting to one of our sites for an appointment or a member of our community teams such as a district nurse or a health visitor travelling to see you at home.

The Games will be taking place at venues across Birmingham from Thursday 28 July to Monday 8 August and we expect increased traffic congestion and greater demand for parking near some of our sites. Please bear this in mind when planning your journey to your appointment. Set off in plenty of time to get to us and to park your car or consider using public transport where possible.
