Please help by giving what you can today so that we can continue with our essential support. We are so grateful for any and all donations we receive; they make such a difference to those accessing and staffing our services across the city.
We understand that times are tough for everyone, and obviously we don’t expect everyone to be able to make a donation. Whilst we will not be running any face-to-face events until 2021, we still need the support of a fantastic fundraisers. There are lots of ways you can raise funds for BCHC Charity, and if you prefer to wait until our in-person events are back up and running, do get in touch and we can add you to our waiting list.
Need some fundraising inspiration? Why not try:
-
a sponsored event: Choose a classic solo fundraiser such as a head shave, leg wax or silence, or choose an activity that means something to you
-
an endurance event: Choose an activity you enjoy that you can do from home, decide how long you’ll attempt to do it, and ask for sponsorship throughout your event. You could choose to do a 24hr movie marathon, a live video gaming or podcast stream, a distance event on your treadmill or exercise bike; whatever works for you!
-
a 'give it up' fundraiser: Give up something like smoking, alcohol, or chocolate for a specified time period and be sponsored to do so
-
'donating the difference': If you are currently working from home, you could save up the money you would usually spend on transport, treats from the vending machine, or hot drinks and donate this at the end of the month
-
become a Facebook fundraiser - Facebook allows you to add a donate button; why not hold a fundraiser for BCHC Charity?
-
Big Blue Day - Every year we hold a day of fun blue-themed fundraising; this year Big Blue Day will be held on Friday 25th September. Don't worry if you've missed it, as it'll come round again next September.
Alternatively, we are also accepting donations in kind, please contact the Ch
arity Team on 0121 466 7314 or via email for further details on the items we are able to accept.
Anything you can do to help us continue to make a difference during what will undoubtedly be a challenging time for the charity would be greatly welcomed.
