Children & Young People's Zone

A wide range of universal and specialist services are provided for children, young people and families in homes, schools and clinics across the West Midlands. Every child is supported by a health visitor, from pre-birth to five years old by our Early Years service and health visiting teams. Then, our nurses in mainstream and specialist schools continue to provide school nursing and other services right up until the age of 25 in some cases.  For children with additional developmental needs, specialist support is provided in families' homes and in child development centres across the city.
