Join the BCHC Direct Access to Wellbeing Services (DAWs) Team and BCHC Charity for a free, fun, and interactive event for all the family!
Location: Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham, B5 7QU
The event will include a range of informational stands, such as free health checks, free simple benefits checks, fun sensory activities and more!
The DAWs Team will also be on hand to offer information on supporting people to be well and warm at home; in addition, they will provide energy saving tips and tricks, advice regarding CO (carbon monoxide) awareness and information on PSR (Priority Service Register) registration (where applicable).

By car: Edgbaston Stadium offers free on-site parking spaces and spaces for blue-badge holders. The car park is situated to the left of the building and is controlled by barriers. The car park entrance is accessed via Edgbaston Road. The postcode for your sat nav is B5 7QU.
By bus: National Express run regular 45 and 47 bus services to Pershore Road which is a 2-minute walk to the stadium. Buses 1, 61, 63 and 35 also stop near the venue. You can plan your journey on the Transport for West Midlands website .
The main event will be taking place in the Banqueting Suite, with activities in the 1882 Suite, both on Level 2. Enter the building through the main entrance and head to the registration table to the right of the main reception desk. Once registered, you can take a lift or the stairs up to Level 2. The entrance to the Banqueting Suite & 1882 Suite can be seen once you exit the lift or stairwell. The Edgbaston Stadium website offers virtual tours so you can explore the venue before you attend.
The Banqueting Suite will be split into two separate areas. The first is the Main Exhibition area, which will hold a number of exhibitors and information stands This will be a large open area and may appear busy at times whilst people take part in discussions. There will be a seating area available within the room. The second area is sectioned off from the main exhibition room by a partition wall and will contain our pop-up Sensory Den and Interactive Projection systems. This area will be slightly darkened to feel the full effects of the sensory equipment. You can enter and exit the room via a doorway.
In the 1882 Suite, you will be able to take part in our fun and interactive activities. There will be seating areas available within the room and some water stations for refreshments.
Toilets are available on Level 2 near the main lift and stairs lobby, outside the entrance to the Banqueting Suite.
A limited number of ear defenders will be available at the event, but we recommend you bring your own if you have them.
