Booking non-emergency transport
Non-emergency patient transport is provided by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Patients with a medical need for transport that meet the eligibility criteria will need to book their transport by phoning:
0800 035 6511
The service is provided using a universal set of local standards and eligibility criteria, developed by Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Birmingham, Sandwell and Solihull. These are applicable to all NHS healthcare services.
To support you with this service, a number of documents have been produced:
- Patient leaflet: for all you need to know about the service.
- Patient Charter: for more information about accessing the service and what to expect from it.
