The new BCHC Patient Portal platform enables Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to deliver enhanced patient-facing services, including the ability for patients to:
- view aspects of their medical record
- manage appointments
- complete online forms
- receive vital educational resources
- ...and more to the 1 million patients that the Trust cares for each year, across all of its services.
Our patient portal software is powered by Portasana and provided by Wellola, whose team believe in supporting preventative, community-based care and making communication between care providers such as BCHC and its service users as seamless as possible.
How do I get started?
- Simply head to https://app.portasana.com/ and create your patient portal account.
- There will be a step to validate your identity, using NHS Login.
- Once complete, the portal will link to the records that BCHC has for you and you can start engaging with your healthcare provider from the comfort of your own home.
The portal is available on iOS, Android or straight in your browser.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. The portal is provided by Wellola, who host the portal in the UK and are an ISO27001 (Information Security Management) certified and DCB0129 compliant software provider.
