Paediatric Continence Service and Enuresis Service

From the 1st of February 2022, the paediatric continence service will be moving to Church Lane Health Centre but continue to deliver clinics across the city.

Referral Criteria to Paediatric Continence:

  • Children and young people must be registered with a Birmingham GP
  • Children and young people between the ages of 4-18 (19 if attending special school) years who have problems with daytime wetting, soiling, and constipation.
  • Physical assessment must be carried out by GP or hospital consultant if under their care, prior to referral to rule out any underlying concerns.

 


Referral Criteria for Enuresis Service:

 

  • Children and young people must be registered with a Birmingham GP
  • Children and young people between the ages of 4-18 (19 if attending special school) who have night time wetting (bedwetting) only.
  • Physical assessment must be carried out by GP or hospital consultant if under their care, prior to referral to rule out any underlying concerns.
