Better Care

Non-emergency patient transport

From 1 May, non-emergency patient transport will be provided by West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Patients with a medical need for transport that meet the eligibility criteria will need to book their own transport, using the number below:

0800 035 6511

The service will be provided using a new universal set of local standards and eligibility criteria, developed by Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Birmingham, Sandwell and Solihull. These are applicable to all NHS healthcare services.
