Each year, BCHC Charity spends around £10,000 on providing gifts, activities and entertainment for inpatients spending the holiday season under BCHC care, as well as toys for vulnerable families. Find out how you can help us spread some sparkle this December!
Donate to Our 'Spread the Sparkle' Winter Appeal
Spending the winter in a healthcare setting can be lonely and frustrating, and BCHC Charity believe it is more important than ever to help brighten the winter period for those under BCHC care.
Each year, BCHC Charity provides around 600 Christmas gifts for inpatients and approximately 300 gifts for community service users, as well as providing party supplies, festive activities, and entertainment. We're committed to doing everything we can support the wellbeing of our patients, service users and colleagues across BCHC.

Take Part in Winter Woollies Week: Monday 15 - Friday 19 December
From Monday 15 to Friday 19 December, BCHC Charity are celebrating Winter Woollies Week! This is a time to don your most festive frocks, seasonal socks and jolly jumpers and really get into the spirit of the season. Wherever you are, post a selfie of your outfit on X or Instagram, tag @bhamcommunity, and we'll share our favourites. Send your photo to the Charity Team and you'll be entered into our Gleeful Garments competition, with a Winter Wonderland prize pack up for grabs! (One entry per person, UK only. The winner will be contacted directly by email). Contact us to get your Festive Fun Pack with our Winter Woollies Week poster as well as games, selfie cut outs, bunting and more.
