The immunisation team delivers childhood Immunisations to children at school in Birmingham and Solihull, offering protection against disease.

The school aged immunisation team co-ordinates a rolling programme of vaccination sessions at Birmingham schools throughout the academic year.

The routine childhood immunisation schedule sets out the vaccines available to all children and the ages/school years in which they are administered.

 

 

How can my child or children receive their vaccinations in school?

For your child to receive a vaccine:

  • School will distribute consent forms to parents.
  • Complete the consent form in full before the deadline contained in the document and return to school.

A new online portal was being rolled out in 2026 to make the process of giving consent more convenient for parents.

 

 

My child or children missed their school appointment
