Celebrating our long serving colleagues

BCHC colleagues who have served between 25 and 30 years.

Our incredible colleagues who have given 25 years and above of service to the NHS have been recognised at BCHC’s second Long Service Awards event.

Held on Tuesday at the Council House, the commemorative event which was led by Chief Executive Richard Kirby saw over 50 colleagues whose total years of service equals to 2270 come together to honour all their hard work, dedication and commitment given to providing the best care possible to service users. Recognised colleagues were treated to a pleasant afternoon with live music from Award Winning Harpist Lucy Nolan, where they received a certificate and a pin badge to acknowledge their commitment. Guests were also provided with cakes and drinks as well as a short ceremony.

Head of Leadership and Organisational Development, Helen Ripley said: “The Long Service Awards event was a really positive celebration of commitment to the NHS over many decades. It’s great to be able to say thank you to colleagues who’ve made such a commitment over the years.”
