Welcome to Team BCHC!
Team BCHC is pleased to welcome 51 new colleagues after their transfer from the Norman Power Centre as part of a planned service transformation.
The team - who were University of Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) employees - will initially work on Wards 4, 5, 6 and 8 at Moseley Hall Hospital.
Members of our adult and specialist rehabilitation services management team have worked alongside colleagues in the Trust's education department to give the new arrivals a comprehensive induction programme to support their transition.
Professional lead nurse Katie Butler said: "Everyone in the division would like to extend a warm welcome and is committed to providing full support so that, together, the Norman Power team can continue to deliver safe, high quality care."
UHB has provided Pathway 2 'discharge to assess' beds at the Norman Power Centre since 2021. The site has now closed following a city council consultation into the future of its inpatient centres across the city.
