How to refer

All Special Care Dentistry referrals are carefully assessed by our triage team to ensure the patient fits our criteria and they have the correct pathway.

All referrals are carefully assessed by our triage team to ensure the patient fits our criteria and they have the correct pathway.

We accept referrals from:

Dentists,
Doctors,
Allied healthcare professionals,
Social care professionals.

All referrals from General Dental Practitioners to Special Care Dental are through the electronic referral management system (Rego)

Make a referral (Rego)

If you are unable to refer via Rego, an allied healthcare, or social care professional please use the Special Care Dentistry Referral Form and e-mail to CCDS.birmingham@nhs.net.
