Bank Worker Training Calendar

CarePlus courses are run every two weeks at Gee House, dates and availability are below.

If you want to book a place on a course, please complete the Training Request Form and include your first and second choice of dates in the form.

This short practical course is designed to help you feel confident using the core digital tools you will need every day. Our Digital Skills training Team will guide you through logging in using your Apollo account and navigating key applications including the Virtual Campus, Microsoft Teams and Outlook. By the end of the session you will be able to access, explore and make use of the tools to support your work with ease.

Dental Services Rio and Carestream R4 courses are specifically for staff who work in the Dental Division.

Some course dates are listed with a course type of To Be Confirmed (TBC). The courses will flex depending on who requests the training first, for example a Dental Nurse needing R4 or Administrator needing Rio. When the request is received then the course becomes an R4 Dental Nurse or Rio Administrator course.

Rio Community Administrator courses are for staff who have never been Rio trained or have not used the system for 12 months or more.

If you want to book a place on a course, please complete the Training Request Form and include your first and second choice of dates in the form.

For virtual training you will require a pc or laptop connected to the trust network in a quiet location with a working microphone (or headset with mic). Please note Ipads or other Apple devices are not suitable.

Rio Assessments

If you have previously been trained on Rio and have used the system within the last 12 months but can no longer access Rio, please complete the relevant Rio Assessment on the Virtual Campus.

Rio Community Clinical courses are for staff who have never been Rio trained or have not used the system for 12 months or more.

If you want to book a place on a course, please complete the Training Request Form and include your first and second choice of dates in the form.

If you work for Adult Community Nursing, a combined Rio and Total Mobile course runs the first Wednesday of every month, if you want to book on this course please make a note in the comments field at the end of the form.

If you have previously been trained on Rio and have used the system within the last 12 months but can no longer access Rio, please complete the relevant Rio Assessment on the Virtual Campus.

Rio EICT courses are for staff who work for the Early Intervention Community Team and other associated teams such as the Urgent Care Bureau. There is a combined Rio and Total Mobile course and a course for non-BCHC staff (staff with .gov email addresses).

Please note: EICT staff that are BCHC are also able to attend the standard Rio community clinical course and can complete the Total Mobile training online.

Rio Assessments

If you have previously been trained on Rio and have used the system within the last 12 months but can no longer access Rio, please complete the relevant Rio Assessment on the Virtual Campus.

Rio Inpatient courses are for staff who work in Inpatient settings e.g. Hospitals, Intermediate Care Units and Respite Care Units.

MedChart courses are for Inpatient staff who work in Moseley Hall or West Heath Hospitals.  If the staff member works in Pharmacy or prescribes and/or administers medications, they will need to attend both Rio and MedChart training.

Some dates for Rio and MedChart Inpatient courses are listed with a course type of To Be Confirmed (TBC). The courses will flex depending on who requests the training first, for example a Nurse or Pharmacy request is received then the course becomes a Nurse or Pharmacy course.

Rio Assessments

If you have previously been trained on Rio and have used the system within the last 12 months but can no longer access Rio, please complete the relevant Rio Assessment on the Virtual Campus.

Total Mobile training is delivered either Face to Face in a classroom or via an e-Learning module.

Face to Face

Face to Face Total Mobile courses are run every two weeks at Gee House.

Note: You will not be issued with your device at the Training session, please speak to your line Manager to request a device.

E-Learning 

If you prefer to undertake your training via e-Learning, a Total Mobile e-Learning course is available via the Trust's Virtual Campus (Moodle). The training should take approximately 2 hours to complete.

Note: you will need to log into the Virtual Campus in order to access the e-Learning.  Please read and follow the online instructions carefully.

Combined Rio and Total Mobile courses

If you work for Adult Community Nursing, a combined Face to Face Rio and Total Mobile course runs the first Wednesday of every month, if you want to book on this course please make a note in the comments field at the end of the Training Request form.

If you work for EICT, a combined Face to Face Rio and Total Mobile course runs the first Thursday of every month, if you want to book on this course please make a note in the comments field at the end of the Training Request form.
