Child Protection Medicals
The purpose of this assessment is to make sure your child is safe and gets the right support.
A child protection medical happens when professionals are worried that a child may not be safe or may have come to harm. It is carried out by a Doctor from our team of specialists, who are trained in Paediatrics, to assess a child’s health and wellbeing when there are concerns about possible abuse or neglect. The examination also helps inform decisions about the child’s safety and any further support or intervention needed.
