BFS Family Hubs and Children's Centres
Best Start Family Hubs is a government initiative. They are a single place to get support for children, young people and families 0 to 19 or to 25 for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Our Family Hubs and Children's Centres are managed by Barnardo's, Spurgeons, St. Paul's Community Development Trust and The Springfield Project depending on which district of Birmingham they are located in.

Stay and Play
Early Years Alliance has a dedicated team of Community Network Officers, providing support to groups and organisations to plan and run safe, stimulating and fun Stay and Play Groups in the local communities.
Stay and Plays Provide essential support to families. You can find local groups running in your community, enabling you to socialise and share ideas with others families while your children enjoy play and learning opportunities with peers of similar ages.
Community Groups will receive practical information, support, advice and guidance from a designated Community Network Officer, to enhance the service provided to families.
If you feel your community could benefit from additional Community Stay and Play Groups and have a passion to support families locally and some spare time you can also contact one of our team to discuss further.
