BCHC Integrated Delivery Plan 2026/27 to 2030/31
Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) is one of the largest community providers in the country, delivering more than 100 clinical services through a workforce of over 5,000 people across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. Our services span the life course and are delivered in people’s homes, neighbourhood settings, clinics, community hospitals and specialist facilities. As a core partner within Birmingham and Solihull, BCHC plays a critical role in supporting population health, reducing pressure on acute services and tackling entrenched health inequalities.
This Integrated Delivery Plan (IDP) sets out BCHC’s strategic direction and delivery priorities for the five-year period to 2030/31. It aligns with the Trust’s existing strategy, national NHS policy - including the NHS 10-Year Health Plan - and system priorities across the Black Country, Birmingham and Solihull. It responds directly to the significant challenges facing the NHS, including rising and increasingly complex demand, persistent inequalities in health outcomes, workforce pressures, constrained finances and the need to deliver care in more integrated, productive and preventative ways.
