Multi-Agency Coffee Mornings
Paediatric occupational therapists support children and young people to carry out activities they need, want, or are expected to do, but are prevented from doing due to impairments, injuries or developmental conditions.
SEND Occupational Therapists can attend mainstream primary, secondary schools and early years settings in Birmingham at your multi-agency coffee mornings, to offer universal advice, support and signposting to parents/carers. SEND Occupational Therapy can deliver a short presentation to raise awareness about their offer and can provide informal universal advice to parents / carers.
SEND Occupational Therapy can also deliver topic-specific coffee mornings for families at your setting around everyday activities such as: toileting, sleep, feeding and transitions through education. We can also offer a collaborative coffee morning with both OT and Speech and Language Therapy linked to play.
