Sensory Circuits Training

Paediatric occupational therapists support children and young people to carry out activities they need, want, or are expected to do, but are prevented from doing due to impairments, injuries or developmental conditions.

Sensory circuits are a series of activities that aim to equip children and young people to be ready to engage effectively for the day ahead. Sensory circuits can support with a child or young person’s physical, social and emotional development and their engagement in learning.

SEND Occupational Therapy provide training for sensory circuits within mainstream schools, early years settings and every private, voluntary, independent (PVI) setting in Birmingham face to face and virtually.

The training covers basic sensory integration theory and uses a practical approach to teach attendees how to set up and run their own sensory circuit.

SEND Occupational Therapy also deliver Sensory Circuits at Home Training for parents within your setting face to face or virtually through Eventbrite.
