SEND Stay and Plays

Paediatric occupational therapists support children and young people to carry out activities they need, want, or are expected to do, but are prevented from doing due to impairments, injuries or developmental conditions.

SEND Occupational Therapists can attend early years settings SEND Stay and Plays, to offer universal advice, support and signposting to parents/carers. SEND Occupational Therapy work in partnership with external agencies to support at Family Hub Stay and Plays across the city.

SEND Occupational Therapy can provide universal advice and strategies to support your setting. Common topics include toileting, dressing, pre-writing skills and feeding.
